WHAT IS AN OFF-MARKET PROPERTY?
With inventory still tight in most of our area, off-market properties are something you might want to know about.
“Off-market” properties, also known as “pocket listings”, are homes that are for sale but aren’t listed on multiple listing services. The benefit? Typically, there are no bidding wars, the sellers are flexible when it comes to the settlement date, and your agent can target specific neighborhoods. Some sellers prefer an off-market listing to test the waters, maintain privacy, save on commissions, or create a sense of exclusivity that could result in a higher selling price.
